Good Day Sunshine and... whatever comes our Way

Let us start the morning with duck and chicken eggs...  because we need a lot of protein for all the things we have yet to do!

Outside, the sun is working it's magic on everything and everyone.

Then on to Bush Creek to see how high the water got from all the rain

And lets finish it off with swimming in the pond, even though the water is freezing

And now it is time for the bees to arrive!  I painted the beehives today and tomorrow will set them up in a perfect spot!  

And as I write this, I am exhausted!  But I got a job today!  My son met a man from Gordonsville (down the street from us) who sells his honey at the same market in Arlington, VA.  After talking a while, my son found out he and his wife could no longer manage all the work of their 400 hives and were looking for some help.  So today I went with him to meet the couple and they hired me for 3 hours a day for 3 days a week to work in their kitchen.  They make everything from candles & granola, to all different types of honey products.  What a connection for me to learn how to make all these different products.  Just one of those 'connections'!! and .....saying 'YES'.
